I spent the last twenty years helping my grandfather, a retired British Historian, sort, restore and rewrite the history of our family in Scotland and England. That is where I came across the basis for my historical novel set in the year before the rising of William Wallace. I was working on pages for the history of my family in the late 1200s, and thought it a perfect story for a marvelous historical romance. I currently reside one-half of the year in Britain, the rest in Kentucky – a pattern of my whole life. Receiving my education on both sides of the Pond gives me an unique perspective into both countries. I am a reviewer on staff at The Best Reviews, Paranormal Romance Reviews, Sensual Romance Reviews and Rambles, a Celtic e-magazine. I was Reviewers International Oganization Award of Excellence Chair and Assitant Editor of their monthly newsletter for the last two years. I am member of: RWA (Romance Writers of America); Hearts Through History RWA online chapter, Editor of Hearts Through History's Newsletter - The Bard Scroll, and 2nd Vice President of HHRW; Celtic Hearts RWA; FF&P RWA chapter and History Fiction Writers Society of Britain.

I have two series of Romances. A Contemporary Paranormal series, first two The Invasion of Falgannon Isle (November 2006 - CATA-Romance RCA Award Nominee) and Riding the Thunder (October 2007) from Dorchester Publishing's Love Spell, with more tales of the Montgomerie sisters in 2008. The second series is Scottish Medieval Historicals. The first, A Restless Knight (Kensington Books in July 2006 - CATA-Romance RWA Award Winner 2006; RIO Award Winner for Best Debut Novel 2006), followed In Her Bed July 2007, with two more in the series coming in 2008.
